The Event Planning Solutions team has more than 17 years of experience in managing and coordinating regional, national, and international training and conferences for non-profit associations and corporations at hotels and convention centers across the world. We recognize every event is different and we strive to tailor and organize meetings that exceed each client’s expectations. We have the expertise to utilize social media and other promotional tools to enhance awareness, build excitement, and ultimately increase attendance. We take pride in helping our clients save time and money by allowing them to concentrate on their priorities, while we provide professional and friendly support services and supervision of the conference logistics.

Linda Hoover | President

Event Planning Solutions President, Linda Hoover, has planned and executed national and international conferences from San Diego to Miami, from Ireland to Germany, and most places in between. With more than 15 years of experience in every aspect of conference/event management for conferences ranging from 50 to 1,500 participants, she strives to put the “polish” on any event, making it unique and memorable for vendors, speakers, and attendees. With an emphasis on personal attention and a love of fitting together the pieces that build an outstanding event, Event Planning Solutions strives to exceed your expectations.  Linda earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Virginia Tech.  In addition to being a proud Hokie alum, she enjoys all things outdoors having completed a myriad of races and loves to mountain bike and hike, conquering a fourteener (Pikes Peak in Colorado), and playing with her dog.

Leslie Grimord | Project Manager

Leslie Grimord has 20 years of client/customer service and business management experience.  Her current focus is event registration, ensuring companies and individuals have a seamless experience with the registration process. Leslie’s organized approach to attendee management and strong interpersonal skills, from initial customer contact to on-site support, make her a valued team member.  In her spare time, she enjoys time with her family, and volunteering with charities such as Good Shepherd and Sharing Our Bounty, that help people with shelter and living supplies.

Melissa Thurber | Project Manager

Melissa Thurber brings more than a decade of experience working on all aspects of conference coordination. She manages vendor interaction from contract negotiation to on-site support, from table-top exhibits to large-scale trade show displays. Melissa’s expertise in building relationships with vendors and sponsors ensures their participation in the conference is worth their investment of marketing dollars. Born and raised in Ohio, she is an avid Ohio State fan, and is a graduate of the University of Dayton. As a Marine spouse she has lived in seven different states and Okinawa, Japan, and loves the adventure and travel that goes along with it.
